I am so jealous my parents! Not only do I want that hat, but yesterday, they drove to Sparta, NC, a mountain town specializing in Christmas Trees, to choose N cut. We used to do this every year. Not ONLY do you get to find and cut your tree, but THEN there is a giant craft fair where you can buy small things you don’t need, and eat lots of Chilli. Naturally my memories embrace mostly the shopping and food. But also, they were greeted with a lovely snowfall. It has officially snowed in NC before NYC.
