I’m on the precipice of perhaps the biggest thing that’s happened in my career (which I must be vague about as it’s not official) and in response, instead of prepping emotionally and logistically for my new role, I have gone full head in Christmas Sweaters. I am searching the bowels of the internet for the perfect vintage Christmas sweater to wear to my Christmas Cookie swap, another thing I’m focusing on instead of work, like how will I disperse the recipes? IS IT POSSIBLE TO PRINT ON A CUTE LITTLE INDEX CARD? My perfect vintage Christmas sweater will be akin to the ugly Christmas sweaters they sell in Target now, but it will be an actual, real ugly Christmas sweater that a woman named Linda got at Talbots and wore to her Human Resources party in 1988. It will be equal parts silly, whimsical and festive, but there also will be something unsettlingly chic about it. It will strangely be very soft. Finding this sweater is all that matters now.
