GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ITS CONCERTS,  ITS PEOPLE AND ITS PEOPLE’S MUSIC, particularly from the mid-90s, even more particularly the music played at proms, most particularly Boyz II Men and En Vogue, who I witnessed last night lifting the spirits of thousands of people, black and white and in-between, up and out of the muck of life.
