Resting Talkback Face

Someone took this picture of me during the talkback after the reading last night. For laymen: when the audience gets a chance to tell you what they thought / ask you questions about your play, or, if you’re in Russia, formally stand, introduce themselves, and shout at you about in very clear terms that you are a hack, which, thankfully, was not the case last night.

I leave it here to call attention to my intense listening face, which seems like I’m straining to look like I’m listening while actually listening. Perhaps if I was JUST listening, I would look like a person who was truly listening instead of a person who is listening but also watching hermaphrodite worms mate under a microscope.
