where I go when I go there

50% of the time, when my brain idles or goes to sleep  — or whichever Brain as Computer or Car metaphor suits your fancy — I go to this parking lot outside of this grocery store by the house where I spent my formative years, ages 8-18. I get transported there, and I just sort of — stand there. It’s where my brain rests or resets. Why is this? I’m wracking my computercarbrain to try and figure out why. So far, all I remember is riding my bike to this grocery store, standing in this parking lot and eating a cadbury egg. FORMATIVE YEARS.
