I have assigned myself the task of watching more network TV (woe: me) and you know what? I am very much enjoying myself. A.) good excuse to lay around and call it work and B.) structurally and also storytelling wise there’s tons to be learned from the episodes and C.) fudgsicles and C.2) I am now even more sure that rape is bad. Sure I didn’t need Law and Order to tell me this, but it’s just a pleasant reminder that boys should stop being mean to girls, ie burying them, throwing gas of them, etc. Though I must say, the show sort of equally villanizes both men and women.
