Last night I did a fancy thing! At the National Arts Club. Fancy. The 24hr plays on Broadway have teamed up with Mont Blanc this year and sponsored a competition to give one of the writer slots to a young writer, which I think is great. They invited the finalists for the slot to come be fancy. I showed up figuring we’d be wrestling each other or something, but instead we smiled, had our pictures taken, were given 24hrplay advice by old pros, and Discussed cheese with / geeked out on Theresa Rebeck. Very nice.
