I have always thoroughly enjoyed this show intermittently, but on my flight to LA, I really took it to the next level and watched it for 6. Hours. Straight. Oh, the codfish! The drama! The fennel, the betrayal! The tension, the chowder! I especially enjoy the deliciously serious moments in which a tortured chef, sad knife sack on lap, pulls at their hair, tortured: ‘I just – (sigh.) I just should have been clearer about my intentions. (sigh.) With my shrimp.’
