The Notebook closed on Broadway last weekend, after a ten month run, after a 7 year birth. There’s things we tell ourselves, and the things people tell us, to make us all feel better, this is only the beginning! But watching the show two last times Sunday, it actually felt true. We’re launching a national tour and starting to license the show all over the world, and we’re committed to a show that’s not just about hot butts in the rain but the fact that love and loss happen to literally everyone on this planet. That we got to do it on Broadway at all is in fact incredible. It can be hard to have perspective when you’re inside of a dream come true, you want the dream to be longer and richer, but if you step outside of it and look at it, you remember that you turned a dream into something real, a glowing sign in the rain, taken down Tomorrow.
