Hi, I don’t know if you recognize me, but today, I’m wearing my glasses. I know. I look VERY different. I’m still me, but profoundly different, because I have glasses on my face. My eyes glint behind the lens, I somehow seem like I know some things and have been through more. Does she have a masters in chemistry, or was there dust in her contact lens? We’ll never know. All we know is that today, she is Glasses, and tomorrow, she might not be. People don’t change, they just wear their glasses, or don’t, constantly vacillating between different versions of themselves that only they can perceive.
