weather, or not

Here’s this amazing press photo of the Notebook’s core creative time, also taken by Joe Mazza. As soon as we saw this shot, we all decided that we looked exactly like a local news team. Katie covers traffic, Ingrid covers pop culture, Michael and Schele are the anchors OBVIOUSLY. And me? I’m weather. I tell people not to cancel their barbecues, that the sun will come out tomorrow, to secure the porch furniture, that it’s a perfect fall day, that it’s time to stock up extra ingredients for banana bread and hunker down. I’ve now thought about this scenario so much that I actually want this job. How do I get this job? Do I have to actually know or understand weather? Can I do it on the side? Is there childcare? CAN I VOLUNTEER TO DO IT FOR FREE?
