wordstronaut

Today, on little world / big ideas,  I saw The Martian last night which gave me many feelings and thoughts, the largest one being: THANK GOD THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GO INTO SPACE BECAUSE I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE. Nothing about it appeals to me, besides maybe a feeling of floating through, you know, space and sort of time; not the length of travel, nor the potential for disaster, nor the suits, considering that I feel trapped when wearing a NIGHTGOWN. Upon further reflection, though, I’ve decided I’m a wordstronaut: bravely exploring the awkward space between humans, between unspoken sentences, boldly turning this space into words. TERRIFYING AND TOUGH JOB, BUT SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT.
