The time has finally come for me to retire my NC Driver’s License, which I have (illegally)  clung to as a constant reminder of where I’m from. To get a California license, I must past a written road test.  Studying / taking practice tests for it last night, I learned that I apparently know NOTHING about cars, driving, or driving cars, and it is a miracle in itself that I am still alive and also not in traffic prison which is probably a thing and WILL THAT BE ON THE TEST? and fog lights WHO? and wheels WHICH Way? And yielding to WHAT?  And don’t hit blind people walking through the crosswalk WHEN?
