Heading to the east side of Iceland today for a fireworks show over a Glacier Lagoon for Maggie’s birthday! Said glacier Lagoon is reportedly quite close to the base of the Volcano, Bardarbunga, that might, well, erupt. But here is a perfect example of sensationalism in the news: Maggie’s actual Geologist friend says that there’s a really good chance that even though there is activity, it does not at all mean that it is going to erupt and delay travel everywhere like the news is saying, she said, KNOCKING ON ALL OF THE WOODS.
