I wanna work for this lady someday (Jenji Kohan, creator of Weeds and Orange is the New Black.) I wanna learn from her. I’m just going to go ahead and put that out into the universe. Knowing Jenji Kohan personally not at all, I gather from what I hear, and from interviews, that Jenji Kohan is intelligent and weird and honest and kind and obsessed with character. On a fresh air interview this morning, Jenji Kohan said that she had a particular physical type in mind for Piper,  ‘because she’s shallow.’  I oftentimes wonder if I’m the same, because I really, really feel like this actor must be very tall or that actor very not pretty because yes, I too am shallow and assume way too much about people based on how they look. I am now just going to assume that Jenji Kohan has a google alert set up for her name and is now reading this, because doesn’t it probably have something to do with like, the number of times the thing says Jenji Kohan?
