The happiest of Birthdays to my always friend Lily, who spent her day trying on giant ball gowns in various costume shops throughout London, further solidifying my deep affection for her, as if there were ANY question of it after our first meeting, some 7 years ago, when she chased me down the street  to see if I wanted to write an evening of monologues with her basically just about avocado’s, and then we did that, and then we were transcontinental friends forever.
