I’ve been thinking about doing one of those Here’s your Box of Produce from a Farm every Month so you can Feel like a Spectacular Human Being who is not only Healthy  but also Earth Conscious! things, but it’s been on that list of ‘things you should do that aren’t that important and therefore will never get done.’ But Lo and Behold! Yesterday, a sweet man knocked on my door offering said service, and I signed up. I’ll get my first box a few days before Thanksgiving. It will be lovely! Or: it will be a nightmare of excess and waste in which every month I am CURSED WITH A GIANT BOX OF PRODUCE THAT I AM INCAPABLE OF CONSUMING ON MY OWN, SO INSTEAD I WANDER THE STREETS, STINKING OF EXCESS AND FAILURE, BEGGING PEOPLE TO TAKE MY TURNIPS AND KALE.
