My fellow New School alum Jennie sent me this picture of her son, Jasper, reading a book that I gave her first kid, Lilly, as a YAY YOU WERE BORN gift years ago. He’s basically the most pensive, adorable nugget product of his Hot Jewish Mom and Hot Chinese Dad. Jennie’s raising her family,  but wishes she was out here writing for TV, and I’m writing for TV but kind of wishing I had a nugget product, or was at least making steps towards that. And so, we vicarious each other, which I strongly believe should also be a verb.
