I’m awake with morning with many large questions about our current world, and how we exists as humans inside of it.
For example, how is it that so many people are able to update their facebook status 700 times a day, but can’t return a phone call? Is it even permissible for me to get miffed by this, when my phone call is really a text message, as in I’m barely communicating as well, and I am probably just as guilty of doing the same thing, but am too self-absorbed to notice?
Yesterday, I saw a guy who used to date a friend of mine YEARS ago get on the train, spot me, strand awkwardly against the door, and at the next stop, CLEARLY MOVE INTO THE NEXT CAR SO THAT HE WOULD NOT HAVE TO SOCIALIZE WITH ME. I didn’t even judge him though, I got it. I didn’t want to talk to him either. Hours later, on the ride home, I did the EXACT same thing to someone else. So, is this just fine now, that we do this?
Lastly, WHY WAS IT REALLY HARD for me to open my cereal this morning?
A.) Because it was upside down.
Clearly, I should stick with the more basic questions.
