Lingo

Today on my Impressions of Los Angeles divided into sub-topics of weather, tacos, and the biz / things I’m starting to understand –  I’ve noticed that oftentimes, a scheduled call gets pushed back a few times, and when you do finally touch base with the person, you say to them – or they say to you – ‘Sorry about that, I was putting out a fire.’

Which only makes me wish that we were REALLY all putting out ACTUAL fires.

Sorry about that, I was PUTTING OUT AN ACTUAL FIRE.

PHEW.
