In case you were wondering who was at the William Morris Golden Globe party last night, it was (in order of me spotting them and pretending I did not notice that they were of the celebrity or personal idol status) – Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Charlize Theron, Tilda Swinton (complete with the most amazing swept-back man hair and 8 inch dagger heels you ever did see), Ricky Gervais, Matt LeBlanc, David Duchovny, Emma Stone, Mary J. Blige, and Jake Gyllenhal, and last but most Father of the Bride / best dressed, Diane Keaton.
In case you were wondering who sat in the corner in polka dots, cramming my gord with squash ravioli and salty ice cream, leering but pretending not to leer, that would be me. My theory on celebrities is that you use the same manners / logic as if you were on Safari. If you see a celebrity in their natural habitat, you aren’t to disturb them, ie, OMG IT’S A LEOPARD! HEY LEOPARD! YOU’RE AMAZING I’M NOT JUST SAYING THAT, LEOPARD! But rather, you are to let them live; graze.
