Saving yourself a seat in NYC is actually NOT that expensive. I found a storage company that came and picked up my life for FREE and will keep that life in a climate controlled environment for just 80 bucks a month until I return. I have to say, though, moving kind of makes you want to light all of your belongings on fire and live with one set of clothing and maybe a few books and maybe a scrapbook and maybe a dancebelt / tube of chapstick. I can’t help but wonder if my stored life will one day be pillaged by Storage Wars. (Clue, storage warriors / pillagers: there is nothing really of value in there.)
