A. LOOK AT THIS PIE MAN THING THAT IS THE MASCOT OF SOME PIE SHOP SOMEWHERE IN AUSTRALIA WHICH I REALLY HOPE IS ALWAYS HUGE AND INFLATED OUTSIDE OF SAID PIE SHOP.

B. It’s crazy: you stare at obsess over a play for years / months / weeks. And then finally, human beings fill the seats and the play itself with their own experiences and the theater with their laughter or attention (or sometimes sadly, the opposite of each.) But it’s incredible how much a play changes with an audience, which is also to say, ‘bread is nice with peanut butter’ and ‘most birds can fly.’
