I love this picture from the nytimes of an unemployed man watching the State of the Union in the back of his truck that he’s Living in. I wasn’t watching the SOTU, as I was releasing my creative American spirit all OVER a rewrite of Widow. But I hear, or read, that unemployment wasn’t really addressed in the speech – which is what this man was most likely listening hardest for.
