I saw Dylan’s ANT fest show last night and my heart swelled with pride and ‘eeeee!!!’ I’ve known Pickle for about 3 years, have heard readings of his work but had never seen in truly fully realized until last night. He blends film / video with theater in this really poignant and unique way. Last night’s show was part pretentious and embarrassing viewing of What Women Want, part post-apacalpytical Mel Gibson diatribe, part exploration of the awkwardness of becoming a grown up, part white people rapping, and part game show. Its possibilities are endless (insert any other movie that is awesome / painful to watch.)  It was like nothing I’d ever seen before. If you work at a theater you should probably let Dylan do his show there, nay, do it 30 times.
