How often do we ACTUALLY call each other by our names? It’s pretty rare. But yet, when writing, we feel like everyone has to say each other’s names all the time. Like ‘Bob listen, listen Bob, Bob, here’s the thing (Bob.)’ But really, I think, we ONLY say each other’s names to get each other’s attention (hey Bob – could you pass me the remote?) or when we are cutely whining (Bobbbbbbbbb!!!!) or when we are REALLY MAD AND MAKING A MAD DRAMATIC POINT (How dare you BOB. HOW. DARE. YOU.)
