I’d known Mr. Chris Abbott for a while but never really known him like A LOT before we were in london together…..so I was delighted to buddy up with him there. He’s insanely funny and smart and also just fun to walk around next to, as he looks like a movie star. I pretty much started to regard him as my little brother. And SO, when I saw him yesterday in Polly Stenham’s That Face at Manahattan Theatre Club, I nearly died of glee as my heart swelled with pride. People, he is so amazing in this play, playing this viciously needy boy. I think the role is going to do amazing things for his career, and I can’t wait to see where it takes him, be it underwear commercials, valley girl imitiations or I don’t know, maybe shakespeare.
