My friend and confidante Mike Sablone is more than okay in my book, for many reasons, (NOT just because he is friends with john krasinski, and the lit manager of an amazing theater in LA, and he actually reads my blog / approves of my pot pie /  though these things help / Sure) – but because each year,  he makes a ‘best of the year’  CD for his friends. But not just ANY CD. He considers his selections ALL YEAR, ranks them in order for best to very most best, AND, gifts you with a novella of compelling, hillarious, informative Liner Notes. Um, I received mine yesterday, all 88 songs of it, or 5.5 hours he reports – songs ranging from Taylor Swift to Discovery to Ida Maria to Fall Out Boy –  I cannot wait to get started.
