Alright, hold the phone – I think I finally understand sports. Not just technically, but emotionally. I get what all the hooplah is about. I watched an inning last night after Ars and the joy / beer / beer related joy were palpable. And then on the train this morning, I read about the win – and how hard they’d been working for years to reclaim the title. Is it a title? A trophy? Whatever ‘it’ is. They worked hard for it, and they got it. It’s very triumph of the human spirit-y, and exciting! So now, for the first time ever, not just as words, but with meaning: GO YANKEES!!!! (Sorry, Evan.
