I’m in rehearsal now for Mine with Slant Theater Project. It’s mayhaps the smallest play I’ve ever written, character-wise. A love triangle of sorts, with music by Joe Pug (In the way that I stole his amazing music and inserted it into my play – then politely asked him if I could, you know, have it. Thankfully, he said yes.) I had an epiphany last night while watching rehearsal – I think it’s gonna be good! I wrote the play so fast and furiously as its story consumed me pretty quickly – and now I’m sifting back through what exactly it is that I wrote. And I think I like it. I think I like it alot. You should come see! Nov 12-22 at the Lee Strasberg theater, starring some phenomenal actors, some lonesome music, and me, huddled in the back, chewing on my hair.
