…or rather: Skies cluttered with (pretty manhattan) buildings, but spacious just the same. We had a BEAUTIFUL sunset  last night, with front row seats from a rooftop in Greenpoint.

This seemed to compensate for the fact that they moved to the fireworks from the East River to the Hudson River this year, screwing over all of Brooklyn and Queens. I was peeved until I read that they did so in honor of the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson sailing up the river / discovering our city. So, fair enough!  (Also, fortunately enough, we could still totally see them anyways.)
