so…, again


Steve’s friends Mike and Joe are infamous foodies – able to sniff out the best in whatever hood they happen to be in. I always seem to have to miss out on culinary adventures with them – but last night, I was able to join. We started with a huge dinner at Momofuku (ssam bar), where I welcomed the return of my appetite with chicken fried chicken, buttermilk salad, snow peas with egg and minut,  pork buns and hangar steak.  We then stumbled to Mario Battalli’s Otto, where we ate insane amounts of Olive Oil Gelato (served with limoncello, I think, and basil sauce), Tiramasu with drunken Cherries, and Strawberry Rhurbarb Gelato.
