Officially announced today – I am the 2009 Resident Playwright at the this great place – and I couldn’t be happier about it. I’m a member of the Play Group as well, and doing it has literally saved my writerly life this past year. The Residency includes a commission to write a play for their space, tickets to events, participation in board meetings, access to rehearsal space and more. Um, this is quite possibly the best thing ever. I hope to make them proud, after all they’ve done for me!
