I, for one, was growing disturbed by how I slept with my phone by my head like an altar, by how I gave it time with mindless scrolling before I went to bed and right when I woke up. Justification: it was my alarm clock, so I needed it there, seeping into my brain as a I slept so dreams became posts shared and re-shared. Solution: I GOT AN ALARM CLOCK, AND MY NOW MY PHONE WILL SLEEP IN A DIFFERENT ROOM. It’s a small change that will hopefully keep me somewhat of a person, unplugged, with my own dream space,”
