Any curious new yorker sometimes wonders – when underground / on train – how the crap was this massive, seemingly stable underground electric carriage ride system built?? At least, I certainly do. They’re currently building a new subway line on Second Ave to serve the east-siders, and these mind-blowing pictures have been released:
